Dr. Bridget Smith
|
Dr. Bridget Smith, the owner of the practice, is a licensed psychologist who received
her doctorate in clinical psychology from Auburn University in 1989 and interned
at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is an affiliate faculty
member at Auburn University, and has been practicing in Auburn since 1990. Dr. Smith
offers general practice in assessment, psychotherapy and consultation services for
children, adolescents, adults, and families.

Dr. Glen Vollenweider

Dr. Glen Vollenweider is a licensed psychologist who received his bachelor degree
from the University of New Orleans. He earned his doctorate in Clinical Psychology
from Auburn University in 2000 and interned at the Missouri Health Sciences Psychology
Consortium in Columbia, Missouri. Dr. Vollenweider came to Psychological Associates,
LLC in 2004 after working in a private practice in Columbus, Ga. He offers general
practice in assessment, psychotherapy, and consultation services for children, adolescents,
adults, and families.

Dr. René Britt
|
Dr. Rene’ J. Britt is a licensed psychologist who received her bachelor degree from
the University of Southern Mississippi. She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology
from Auburn University in 1998 and interned with the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Dr. Britt joined Psychological Associates, LLC. in 2006 after working in private
practice for the past 6-7 years. She offers general practice in psychotherapy, assessment
and consultation services for adolescents, adults, couples and families. Her interests
include working with individuals with depression, anxiety, life transitions and
couples therapy.

Dr. Jennifer Daniels
|
Dr. Daniels is a licensed psychologist who received her bachelor degree from Eastern
Kentucky University. She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Auburn
University and interned at the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System in Tuskegee.
Dr. Daniels offers general practice in assessment, psychotherapy, and consultation
services for adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She is currently accepting
new clients.

Dr. Steve Shapiro
|
Dr. Steve Shapiro is a licensed psychologist who received his doctorate in clinical
psychology from the University of Miami in 1990. He completed his internship at
Duke University. He is an associate professor and the Director of Clinical Training
at Auburn University. His area of specialization is child clinical psychology and
his professional activities include the description and assessment of learning,
attention, behavioral and emotional problems in children, adolescents and adults.
Dr. Shapiro offers assessment and consultation services for children, adolescents,
and adults.

Dr. Polly Dunn
|
Dr. Polly Dunn is a licensed psychologist who received her doctoral degree in clinical
psychology from Auburn University in 1999 and interned at the Civitan International
Research Center, Sparks Clinics for the Developmental Disabilities at the University
of Alabama at Birmingham. She is a faculty member at Auburn University. Her clinical
interests include the assessment of attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder and
learning disabilities. Dr. Dunn offers assessment and consultation services for
children, adolescents, and adults.

Dr. Michael M. Steele
|
Dr. Michael M. Steele is a licensed clinical child psychologist who earned both
a Master of Arts degree and a Ph.D. in Clinical Child Psychology from the University
of Kansas. More recently, he completed a predoctoral internship in pediatric and
clinical child psychology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. Steele has been trained in general clinical child and adolescent psychology,
as well as pediatric psychology. Dr. Steele also serves as a committee member on
the Health Subcommittee of the Lee Co. Child Policy Council for the Alabama State
Health Department and is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology
at Auburn University. Dr. Steele is accepting clients and offers both treatment
and assessment services for families, children, and adolescents.

Stephanie Glidewell
Office Manager
|
Stephanie Glidewell is the office manager at Psychological Associates. She has been
with the group since June 2006. Prior to this, Stephanie had worked at Lanier Memorial
Hospital, East Alabama Medical Center, and physicians’ offices, giving her a total
of 21 years experience in the medical profession.

Terri Wymes
Administrative Secretary
|
Terri Wymes is the evening receptionist at Psychological Associates, LLC. She has
been with the group since March 2005. Terri is also a teacher at Auburn High School.
She has a degree in Communications and has worked in public relations giving her
several years of experience working with the public.
